Setting the TP-Link Wireless Router

1. To further help us in setting it wireless router, we first address setting computer or laptop to 192.168.1.2 because the default state of TP-Link Wireless Router has address 192.168.1.1 so we download our computer settings to a different address, remember that address must be unique in the sense that there are no devices of the same network address.
2. Open a browser buddy, in this case I am using mozilla firefox then fed IP Address (address) of Wireless Router 192.168.1.1 into the address before the browser bar buddy then press enter.
3. Enter the username: admin and password: admin interface will display a Wireless Router from TP-Link. (Please note that wireless router, we will connect with ADSL modem, in general, the default IP address of the modem is 192.168.1.1 so we had to change the IP addresses that are in the wireless router that will further our setting, for simplicity we give only address wireless router to 192.168.2.1 and the address of the computer / laptop we change menkadi 192.168.2.2 so that we can continue setting the wireless router).
Select the Network> LAN enter the address as above then Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
4. Restart the TP-Link Wireless Router by selecting System Tools> Reboot and wait a few moments and then go into the system TP-Link Wireless router as a first step.
5. After getting into the administrator interface, select Quick Setup menu and then next and enter the following settings:
• Wireless Radio: Enable
• SSID: TP-Link_DE3896 (can be filled with any suitable name hotspot pal)
• Region: Indonesia
• Channel: 6 (adjust: channel that has not been used around the hotspot pal)
• Mode: 54Mbps (802.11g)
• Next
6. Next is the Gateway and DNS settings by selecting Network> WAN (adjust the ADSL modem pal).
• Click Renew in the Gateway and enter the IP Address of the modem is 192.168.1.1
• Checklist Use These DNS Servers section fill in the DNS server that is closest pal in the eastern Indonesian example for me to use for the Primary DNS: 203.130.193.74 danSecondary DNS: 203 130 196 155
• Save to save the settings.
7. The next step is his wireless router security settings so that the person entitled to use the connection, select the Wireless> Wireless Settings
• Tick Enable Wireless Security
• Security Type: WEP
• Security Option: Automatic
• WEP Key Format: Hexadecimal
• Key1: 1234567890 (can be changed); Key Type: 64bit
8. The final step is to set its DHCP server to the client automatically obtain its own IP Address, which select the DHCP> DHCP Settings and then enter the IP address range (adjust how computer / laptop to be connected) as the Start IP Address: 192.168.2.2 and End IP Address : IP Address 192.168.2.10 means (addresses) used by the client either connected using wifi or wired will occupy address 2 through 10.
9. Save and Reboot for TP-Link Wireless Router pal and ready for use.
