Sejarah Kewirausahaan

Wirausaha secara historis sudah dikenal sejak diperkenalkan oleh Richard Castillon pada tahun 1755. Di luar negeri, istilah kewirausahaan telah dikenal sejak abad 16, sedangkan di Indonesia baru dikenal pada akhir abad 20. Beberapa istilah wirausaha seperti di Belanda dikenal dengan ondernemer, di Jerman dikenal dengan unternehmer. Pendidikan kewirausahaan mulai dirintis sejak 1950-an di beberapa negara seperti Eropa, Amerika, dan Kanada. Bahkan sejak 1970-an banyak universitas yang mengajarkan kewirausahaan atau manajemen usaha kecil. Pada tahun 1980-an, hampir 500 sekolah di Amerika Serikat memberikan pendidikan kewirausahaan. Di Indonesia, kewirausahaan dipelajari baru terbatas pada beberapa sekolah atau perguruan tinggi tertentu saja. Sejalan dengan perkembangan dan tantangan seperti adanya krisis ekonomi, pemahaman kewirausahaan baik melalui pendidikan formal maupun pelatihan-pelatihan di segala lapisan masyarakat kewirausahaan menjadi berkembang.

History of Entrepreneurship

     Entrepreneurs have historically been known since it was introduced by Richard Castillon in 1755. In other countries, the term entrepreneurship has been known since the 16th century, while in Indonesia, was unknown at the end of the 20th century. Some terms such as self-employment in the Netherlands known as ondernemer, in Germany known as unternehmer. Entrepreneurship education started since the 1950s in some countries such as Europe, America, and Canada. Even since the 1970s, many universities that teach entrepreneurship or small business management. In the 1980s, nearly 500 schools in the United States providing entrepreneurship education. In Indonesia, a new study of entrepreneurship is limited to a few schools or colleges only. In line with the developments and challenges such as the economic crisis, the understanding of entrepreneurship both through formal education and training at all levels of society to developing entrepreneurship.

Natural science or science (science) is taken from the Latin word which literally means Scientia is knowledge, but later developed into a special Natural Science or Science. Sund and Trowbribge formulate that science is a body of knowledge and processes.
While Kuslan Stone says that Science is a body of knowledge and the means to acquire and use knowledge. Science is a product and process that can not be separated. "Real Science is both product and process, inseparably Joint" (Agus. S. 2003: 11)
Science as a process of steps taken by the scientists to conduct investigations in order to find an explanation of natural phenomena. The move is to formulate the problem, formulating hypotheses, designing experiments, collecting data, analyzing and finally conclude. From this it appears that the fundamental characteristic of science is the quantification of the mean quantity of natural phenomena can be shaped.

             Social Science or social studies is the knowledge about all things related to the community. in Indonesia lessons of social science knowledge is adapted to the various social perspective in society. The study of communities in social studies can be performed in a limited environment, the environment around the school or the students and the students or the wider environment, the environment of other countries, both in the present and in the past. Thus, male and female students studying IPS can live the present with the knowledge of the past equipped humankind.

Social sciences, in studying aspects of society as a subjective, inter-subjective, and objective or structural, previously thought to be less scientific when compared with the natural sciences. But now, some parts of the social sciences has been widely used quantitative methods. Similarly, interdisciplinary approaches and cross-disciplinary in social research on human behavior and social and environmental factors that influence has made a lot of natural science researchers interested in some aspects of the methodology of the social sciences. [1] The use of quantitative and qualitative methods have been increasingly integrated into the the study of human action and the implications and consequences.
Because it is a form of simplification of the social sciences, in Indonesia IPS serve as subjects for elementary school students (SD), and junior high school (SMP / junior). As for the level above it, ranging from secondary school (high school) and college, social sciences studied by the branches of the science of the particular department or faculty that focused on studying it.
